Sherwood Forest Hospitals have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to develop their leadership skills.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, to work within the Pharmacy Stores Leadership team on a one year fixed-term basis to work with and deputise for the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Manager in the management of the stores, procurement and ward supply function of pharmacy. This includes management of the Pharmacy Information System (JAC)and the Automated Dispensing System (Pharmacy GPI Robot).
In addition to this, the individual will support our wards supply service including a well-established, unique Ward Stock Medicines Management system which involves a team of assistants supporting the clinical team on the wards.
This post represents an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their knowledge and skills within medicines procurement and stores, and to gain supervisory and management experience. The postholder will also get an opportunity to support training and development of junior staff members.
