Electrical Engineering Manager is required for our client based in Cradley Heath.
My client is a small manufacturing business with a professional, social, and supportive outlook with the goal to increase their market share.
The ideal candidate for the role of electrical engineering manager will be someone who has a design background, project management experience and commercially aware as this role will grow over time.
Commitment and a high level of drive and quality standards are a must as this is a critical role within the future of the business.

You will have experience in:
1. Controls/control panel sector providing technical design.
2. Providing client support
3. Overseeing our workshop operations
4. Helping to develop a business from a operational and commercial aspect.
The successful applicant should be sales driven, applying themselves to increasing the turnover of the business.
Responsibilities:
5. Reporting to the directors.
6. Manage daily workshop operations and supervise staff.
7. Produce designs/drawings from client point schedules and enquiries.
8. Produce client quotations with a view to obtaining orders.
9. Monitor stock levels and order parts as needed.
10. Train new employees.
11. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
12. Actively drive the turnover of the business.
Experience:
13. 3+ years of experience in a controls/BMS related environment.
14. Strong electrical knowledge and experience with control panels.
15. Designing using AutoCAD or other design software.
16. Panel wiring: 3 years (preferred).
A working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage, for producing working drawings for panel manufacture, however training will be given to the successful candidate if required. Some hands-on work is possible on occasion, to support our client's needs.
