Job Title: Breeder Farm Worker
Reporting to: Farm Manager
Overall aim of the Job: To produce eggs of the best quality as efficiently as possible.
Key Tasks Within The Job
1. To maintain and improve the highest welfare standards.
2. To assist with achieving target levels of egg production and fertility, as efficiently as possible.
3. To work to a high health and safety standard.
4. Produce all records required in order to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
5. Monitor and report any required repairs to buildings and machinery to the Site Manager ensuring the site operates efficiently and safely.
6. Liaise regularly with Site Manager, and communicate with site staff and colleagues as appropriate, regarding successes and problems to ensure the consistent flow of information.
7. Carry out welfare checks of the site, when required (full time positions only).
8. Report any shortage of farm supplies to the Site Manager.
9. Maintain all aspects of company policy on site (as per the Company Handbook).
10. Be responsible for maintaining the health and welfare of the ducks on site.
11. To carry out any other tasks relating to poultry farming as the company may reasonably require.

Job Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 39 Hours per week
Working Times: Working hours will be approximately 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 1:30pm Friday (Paid at basic rate) and alternate weekends (paid at overtime rate).
Pay Rate: £12.35 per hour & £16.46 at weekends.
Own transport is essential due to the remote location.
