We have a fantastic opportunity to join Openfield as a Farm Services Coordinator based in Colsterworth.
The ideal candidate will be intuitive, an experienced administrator, and have an interest in all things farming. We are a farmer-owned cooperative looking for an Administrator to join our team.
Who we're looking for:
You will be the main point of contact for a specified group of farmers, FBM’s, and stores ensuring all communication regarding movement and execution is carried out in a timely and accurate way. To act in a professional and customer-focused manner whilst being commercially aware.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Contract Maintenance: Dealing with all activities related to purchase contract maintenance for a group of farmers.
2. Arranging farmer collections with the relevant Consumer Service Co-Ordinator.
3. Discussing and agreeing allowances with farmers and ensuring these are entered correctly and accurately onto the relevant system.
4. Working with Farm Business Managers to agree prices with farmers for surplus loads.
5. Dealing with all day-to-day administration processes relevant to the forwarding department.
6. Being a proactive member of the Operations team with service, efficiency, and accuracy being at the core of what we do.
7. Being true to our Values and role modeling a Values-led approach.
Desired skills and experience:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Proven ability to build good relationships with all stakeholders and drive operational best practice through engagement.
3. Competency when using IT programmes.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Agile thinking able to function at a high level in a changing environment.
6. Willingness to travel to other sites as and when required.
