About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing all bank and cash transactions alongside supporting accounts payable and receivable to ensure a high quality financial service to internal and external stakeholders of St Elizabeth’s. This role offers the opportunity to study towards a fully funded AAT qualification whilst being responsible for cashier, sales ledger and purchase ledger activities including; processing weekly and monthly bank and credit card statements; issuing and posting of invoices for fees; processing of petty cash records; confirming and chasing up purchase ledger orders and prepare bi monthly ledger payments; ensuring all processes adhere to financial regulations and St Elizabeth’s procedures About you We’re a friendly, supportive and busy Finance team and are keen to hear from motivated individuals who have started or are interested in pursuing an AAT (or equivalent) qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to use your strong communication and attention to detail skills to contribute to the success of the team. Demonstrating professional curiosity, you will need to keep up to date with legislation and industry changes, ensuring processes are undertaken in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
