We’re looking for an enthusiastic female Support Worker (Health Needs) to join our friendly and supportive Supported Living services team in Port Tennant, Swansea. In this rewarding role, you’ll be helping adults with complex needs live more independently – making every day meaningful.
Our service runs 24/7, so flexibility is important. Shifts include:
• Day shifts: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
• Waking night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (enhanced rates)
✅ Experience working with adults with complex needs
✅ A full UK manual driving licence (you’ll be driving mobility vehicles)
✅ A permanent part-time role (20/30-hour positions) with waking nights as extra
✅ This role is open to women only due to the specific needs of the individuals supported in this service

What is the role?
As a Support Worker, you’ll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day support, including:
Administering medication
Preparing meals and supporting with mealtimes
Laundry and household cleaning
Accompanying on shopping trips and running errands
Supporting relationships with friends, family, and the local community
Taking part in leisure activities, such as swimming, cinema trips, and days out
Advocating for their needs, preferences, and choices
Providing personal care, with dignity and respect
Assisting with manual handling as required

An hourly rate of £12.75 making the annual salary £ 24,531 (FTE)
“Wakeful night” rate which includes a 20% uplift
