Location: Roxby House, Scunthorpe
Salary: £20,000-£25,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks
Essential: Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our clinical team working within our Options Adult North Service supporting autistic people, many of whom have also learning disabilities and in some cases complex profiles of need. This exciting role will involve working under the supervision of a psychologist to carry out tasks that will involve group work, 1:1 work, research, audit and evaluation. You will work within a supportive team together with other disciplines including Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy in addition to collaborating closely with our colleagues in the wider care team around the people we support.

Essential Criteria:
* Psychology degree (2:1 plus MA/MSc or first)
* Relevant experience of working with children and young people
* First-hand experience of a range of research methods
* First-hand experience of quantitative and qualitative research, including different methods of data collection, research designs, analysis and final report writing
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Experience of teaching and/or supporting of other health professionals
* Experience or knowledge of relevant client group (service specific)
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
