We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a Production Operative.
The Process Operator is primarily responsible for the batch manufacturing of products. This includes the preparation, mixing, and reacting of chemical ingredients, alongside monitoring, and documenting the manufacturing process to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role contributes to the continuous improvement of production processes and requires collaboration with the production team to optimize methods and outcomes.

There will be an initial training period where you will be expected to work days.
Once fully trained, the working shift pattern will be 12 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6.00am – 6pm.
Commutable from Wigan, Standish, Skelmersdale, Bolton, Leigh, Adlington, Ashton-in-Makerfield and Rainford.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations during batch manufacturing.
* Promptly report deviations, incidents, or hazards using the appropriate systems.
* Follow formulation batch sheets and specifications precisely.
* Accurately adjust processes under laboratory staff guidance.
* Document process activities completely and promptly.
* Oversee the operational state of equipment during production.
* Notify supervisors when raw materials are required or finished products are ready for transfer to the warehouse.
* Assist with process and product improvements by providing observational feedback.
* Participate in design and hazard reviews as required.
* Undertake reasonable additional tasks as directed by management.
* Perform FLT (Forklift Truck) operations if licensed.
* Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization.
* Respond to corrective and preventive action requirements in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS
* Fork Lift truck is required
* Previous Production Operating experience gained from within a chemical/process type industry
* Troubleshooting
* An understanding of the chemical process
* Willingness to comply with Health and Safety requirements
