Scoping, Planning & Scheduling
1. Ensure scope is clearly defined and that project deliverables meet the business requirements and project objectives.
2. Develop and maintain the project plan from initiation to project closedown to ensure delivery within agreed timescales.
3. Understand dependencies within, and risks to, the project plan.
4. Co-ordinate activities/resources required for the project capturing actual costs and re-plan as necessary.
Business Benefit & Financial Management
1. Contribute to Business Cases for all projects.
2. Manage change control where necessary, to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
Delivery, Communication & Resource management
1. Proactively manage issues to resolution, initiating corrective action as necessary to ensure the project remains on schedule and budget.
2. Ensure quality standards are met for all deliverables through business and system testing as appropriate.
3. Deliver effective change and configuration management through change control procedures and approvals.
4. Provide regular and appropriate communications to Head of Transformation and the project team.
5. Provide status updates to the Head of Transformation and ensure issues are escalated in a timely manner.
Risk Management
1. Identify, evaluate, and document risks to delivery.
2. Develop action plans in conjunction with Head of Transformation, with associated budget to prevent or mitigate risks to minimize impact to project success.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
1. Identify and prioritize key stakeholder relationships clearly communicating and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Cultivate collaborative working, building successful relationships to deliver timely effective issue management and facilitating conflict resolution where required.
Governance
1. Deliver standard artefacts as defined by the project management methodology (RAID logs, Plans, Action Logs, Impact Assessments, etc).
2. Provide timely management reporting via Project Status Reports and project summaries as required.
3. Ensure all project information, plans and documentation are kept up to date and stored in the shared directory.
4. Ensure projects are formally reviewed and closed.
5. Work at all times lawfully and in accordance with pre-defined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements, e.g., Data Protection, Health and Safety, FCA Standards adhering to group/company policy, processes and control frameworks.
