As a Communications and PR Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Develop and execute communications and PR strategies aligned with company goals.
* Create and oversee content: press releases, blogs, newsletters, and Op-eds.
* Build and maintain relationships with media, franchisees, and stakeholders.
* Lead sector-related political campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
* Manage key messages and crisis communications.
* Source and manage media opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
* Prepare key spokespeople from across the network to be confident to participate in media interviews / opportunities. To include coaching sessions and briefing packs.
* Oversee reviews, internal communications, and CEO/Director social media.
* Advise on sector news and government reforms, crafting timely responses.
* Quality assurance of internal and external messaging.
* Collaborate with National Office teams including marketing department.
* Evaluate PR effectiveness and report outcomes.
* Travel occasionally for coaching, workshops, and events (expenses covered).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in communications and PR.
* Proven success in boosting brand image with strong media contacts.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative mindset with a flair for producing engaging content.
* Up-to-date knowledge of communications trends, including digital and social media.
* Strategic thinker with expertise in planning and evaluating campaigns.
* Collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
