* Undertakedetailed maintenance inspection and supervision activities onaircraft or aircraft components. uring work carried out has beencompleted in accordance with the SOW / Work package using therelevant approved technical information. Resolving faults andmaintenance issues including configuration management.
* Supervisea team to ensure that maintenance is undertaken to schedule andhighlight any issues escalate as required. Report on any impact tothe widerprogramme.
* Demonstratesa flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilitiesappropriate to the role and takes directionappropriately.
* Ensurestaff are sufficiently competent and authorised for the maintenancetasks allocated tothem.
* Maintainsown & teams task authorisations for working on an aircraftor components in accordance with AMCrequirements.
* Responsiblefor meeting agreed delivery targets in the short to medium termthrough the supervision of others. Progress reporting againstdelivery targets tomanagement.
* Providesguidance and leadership to the team. Develops team members usingformal essment processes e.g. PDR s supports and sponsors trainingrequests including on the job training. Demonstrates sound andcomprehensive communication and people management ss in order toexchange complicatedinformation.
* Abilityto scope and carry out independent and vitalinspections.
* Maintainpersonal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency on completionof On the Job training (OJT) activities sign other personnel s LogBooks as appropriate within your trade and ssboundaries.
* Monitorthe schedule and coordinate maintenance tasksupport.
* Supervisethe Flight Line Mechanics in delivery of the aircraft to executethe flyingprogramme.
* istin the Investigation and closure of all local applicable ErrorManagementProcesses.
KeyAccountabilities
* Performanceindicators Ensure the effective management of Part 145 activitiesby setting delivery targets monitoring progress and developingperformance improvement programmes. Prioritises activitieswithin/across team to maximise efficiency. Represents the TeamLeader at management reviews where necessary. Responsible for theessment of escalated issues for any impact on ContinuingAirworthiness and generating effective resolution or sponsoringescalation to management as appropriate.
* Completionof activities Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriatelydoented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevantsystems (IT / paper based). Ensure all Part 145 activities areperformed by suitably qualified experienced and authorisedpersonnel. Ensure the integration of Part 145 activity within thebusiness including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stagesof the process. Provide support and guidance to theteam(s).
* Procedure/standardsManage the Part 145 team(s) compliance with the Part 145 Expositionits ociated procedures and standards and any other Companyprocedures and standards as applicable. Identify propose andimplement change as required whilst ensuringcompliance.
* SafetyManagement System Promote the application of Human Factors ErrorManagement Risk Management and Safety urance within the Part 145team(s) together with the proactive ysis mitigation and managementofHazards.
* ManagementSystem urance Ensure Maintenance activities are compliant with theAM&S Governance and urance framework including supportingprocess confirmations and independent urance audits. Support theresponse to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner andprovide information to support the relevant reviews. Support theimplementation of identified improvements to overcome anynoncompliance and monitoreffectiveness.
* Statutory/Regulatory& Legislative requirements Able to demonstrate anappropriate level of understanding and application of the relevantContinuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework. Support theimplementation of any Regulatorydriven changes into the Maintenanceactivities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements e.g. ITAREaPW ISOetc.
* ContractualRequirements Ensure compliance with all applicable contractualrequirements e.g. through support to contract reviews and ensureany changes are implemented into the Part 145 activities asappropriate.

* Academicqualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance orequivalent.
* Typically3 years experience including type cled as fully competent with allrequired Authorisations inplace.
* Requiresgeneral product knowledge/competency within own technical/subjectarea and a basic knowledge of those elements in otherareas.

Qualifications Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideallyin Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeshipAcademic qualification for this role is a minimum of City &Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance orequivalent. Experienced and competent leader at this level.Requires a minimum of 2 years working at Technician level prior toundertaking a Supervisor role. Demonstrating breadth of experience,currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) of ss,knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft type or in bays.
