My son is a fifteen year old boy with learning difficulties and autism. He needs help
and care at to enable him to live a fulfilled life. He loves swimming, going for a
walk, playing in the garden with his sister, listening to books read out loud to him
or fun physical play. He enjoys climbing and outings shopping or to a theme park.
My son needs care, support and supervision after he returns from school. We
provide training and shadowing experience.
Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, getting ready for
swimming, taking a bath or other similar care.
Outings to the beach or garden, community, shops and theme parks if on
weekends.
Starting rate is 15 pounds per hour. We value your time and effort, and there is
room for an increase of this amount. Hours needed are after school and
weekends. Parents would remain on hand and support and train you as needed.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Companionship
Gardening
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
