About Us:
This beautiful nursery is in an idyllic setting, nestled in mature woodland. Our nursery is small and friendly with only 24 children per day. We are looking for someone full of enthusiasm and bringing bucket loads of passion and common sense to join our team here. We are seeking candidates who have prior experience of leadership in a nursery. You may be an experienced deputy seeking a new challenge or a room lead looking for the next step.
This is an all year round, full time (40hrs) position.
About the role
We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager who can support the manager with the operational functions of our nursery. The main priorities but not limited to, are:
* Quality of care provided
* Safe premises
* Happy children, parents, and staff
* Supporting staff with training, coaching, and following of nursery policy
* Leading either the Baby team or Pre-School team
* Leading the nursery in the manager's absence
* Ensuring adherence to the EYFS welfare and learning and development requirements at all times
The person recruited for this role must have full confidence in themselves that they are capable of fulfilling the requirements of the role and can commit to 8am starts and 5.30/6pm finishes either 4 or 5 days per week.

* Calm and an effective problem solver
* Min 2 years’ relevant experience
* Full and relevant Level 3 or above
* Tech literate
