They work a four day week with an option of 3 days per week (full time hours). Circa £30k depending on hours.
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning advanced control systems for a variety of industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food processing, and chemical processing.

The PLC Programmer will work on full project lifecycles, from initial design to commissioning, installation, and on-site support.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for Siemens, Omron and Mitsubishi platforms
* Create electrical circuit designs, system drawings, and panel layouts using Eplan
* Configure and integrate HMI systems, including Proface
* Work with robotic systems, servo-controlled drive systems, and industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, and DeviceNet
* Conduct on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and system installations
* Support the sales, service, and mechanical teams during initial project design
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, including CE markings, PUWER, and risk assessments
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience in PLC programming with Siemens, Omron or Mitsubishi
* Ability to design and develop electrical schematics and system layouts using Eplan
* Knowledge of HMI design and integration, preferably with Proface
* Experience working with robotic automation systems
* Understanding of servo-controlled drive systems and industrial communication networks
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence is required, as the role will involve some travel to client sites
