We're looking for a fantastic new team member to help us deliver our first regional programme in Bristol and the West of England. This will be a varied role, and you’ll need to be able to thrive in a fast paced environment where you’ll be both delivering and developing the programme as we go. Each day will be different, as you’ll go from delivering coaching and training sessions, to developing workshops, gathering monitoring data, and building community relationships and networks. A key focus of this role will be supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences through one-to-one coaching, facilitating small group peer-consulting, and leading our participatory skills programme. We’re open to hybrid working styles, although the successful candidate will need to be able to deliver in-person sessions in Bristol and the West of England on a regular basis. Specific responsibilities: Delivering monthly one-to-one coaching sessions for up to 40 young people on our programme, supporting them to identify their strengths, overcome their challenges and develop their skills. Facilitating small group peer-consulting sessions, supporting young people to share their insights and experience to develop problem solving, active listening and self-reflection skills. Working with the YES Directors to develop and deliver an in-person, participatory learning programme, based on supporting young people to develop their communication skills, problem solving and group work, critical thinking and personal resilience. Through these in-person sessions, we will be developing a set of recommendations for the environmental sector to become more youth-friendly. Taking part in collecting monitoring and evaluation data, including carrying out baseline and follow-up surveys, gathering case-studies and collating feedback.
