Job Description
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
* Assess students' learning needs and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN support strategies
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
* Proficiency in assessment and evaluation techniques
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
* Work primarily within a learners home setting or local library
* Travel to student homes for outreach sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
