We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join the Neurology & Neurophysiology Department at Torbay Hospital. Our Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the administrative coordination of the Neurophysiology service and support to the Neurology team.
They will need to be proficient in customer service skills, keyboard skills, communication, and coordination. They will be required to be a good communicator and work both independently and as part of the team. They will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure an effective and efficient service in line with Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that patients are treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act with professionalism and integrity, being a role model to those around us and ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity.

Neurophysiology and Neurology is very busy, and the secretarial teams are key to ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently. It is therefore imperative that each member of the team works as a team player, but it is equally important that they are able to work independently and prioritize their workload effectively.
One of the main rewards of this role is knowing you have made a difference and enhanced a patient’s experience within the departments. This role is a great training opportunity in order to progress your career.
