Salary: £11.80 - £12.38 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

About us:
Park House is a community-based residential home for up to nine young adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is situated in Bromyard, within two minutes’ walk of the town centre. Contained within the main home is also a flat which consists of bedroom, lounge, and kitchen facilities, enabling residents to live in a semi-supported environment as they make their next step towards independent living.
About the role:
We are seeking Support Workers to assist the young adults in our care. We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to caring for our young people. You will provide personal care to residents and support them in a wide range of learning, development, and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips, and social occasions.
The role will involve working a condensed rota of 7.15am – 9.45pm on a 2 on – 4 off basis over a six-week rolling pattern, including some weekends and up to three sleep-ins per month.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. If you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training, learning, and development, including the care certificate and NVQ level 3 in health and social care.
