Job Description
Energis is recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join our clients dynamic and expanding team in the sale of landscaping products. Whilst helpful, no landscaping experience is necessary for this role. A comprehensive induction and training programme will be given to the successful candidate so that you have all the tools necessary to be a first-class showroom-based sales advisor.
The successful Sales Advisor will be given ongoing support and training to assist them along career progression paths over time.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Maximise sales, process orders and proactively engaging with customers providing a professional yet personal customer experience.
2. Dealing with customer enquiries in a timely manner and building a pipeline of quotations.
3. Liaise with both existing recommended and new installers, to build and cultivate close working relationships to drive a repeat revenue stream.
4. Assist and guide customers in their choices to ensure the optimum solution is achieved for the customer.
5. Work closely with other departments including Landscape Designers and Marketing department to identify case studies & other content opportunities for social media channels.
6. Provide assistance to the Internal sales team providing formal quotations and other admin tasks as and when required.
Criteria:
7. Previous sales experience in a retail or showroom environment.
8. Excellent communicator with a strong focus on customer service
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software packages.
10. Strong mathematical skills
11. Flexibility to work alternate Saturday mornings during the summer season (time off in lieu will be given)
12. Valid driving licence.
13. Previous experience in a role requiring measurement taking is highly desirable
Salary on offer is in the region of £26.5k + commission giving an OTE of £29-32k. The role comes with an excellent benefits package including life insurance, healthcare cash scheme and pension.
