We have an opportunity available for an Evening Depot Transport Administrator to join our Fleet team in Daventry. The role is a full-time, permanent position; working 35 hours per week Monday-Friday; 12pm-8pm.
As our Evening Depot Transport Administrator, you will assist the department with all administration duties, working efficiently to ensure deadlines are met. The successful candidate will have an interest in logistics and will need to be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages specifically Excel, Word & Outlook.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of our Evening Depot Transport Administrator include:
* Update order status file and in-house customer booking system daily and cover data entry for other depots as needed.
* Cross-reference databases, checking for errors and rectifying as needed, keeping discrepancies to a minimum.
* Prepare documentation for deliveries and driver packs on a daily basis.
* Check that correct documents are available and current for driver packs.
* Deal with any customer service/delivery queries on an ad hoc basis, providing evidence as required.
* Update Depot Manager & Supervisor with progress of daily delivery routes using tracking systems.
* Maintain effective working relationships with immediate team and other internal departments.
* Point of contact for the driving team via phone & on return to depot, ensuring all relevant tools and equipment have been returned in good working order.
* Organisation of the returns area, ensuring good housekeeping is always maintained.

* Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages specifically Excel, Word & Outlook is essential.

* Previous work experience in logistics is desirable.
