About The Role To help deliver our ambitious growth plans, we are now looking to recruit a Machine Control Business Manager to join our specialist Survey division, working Regionally with the primary aim of winning and developing revenue streams from large major customers operating in a range of sectors. You will have the experience, confidence and ability to positively and professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals UK and develop strong and successful relationships with key external stakeholders. Working with our sales team to manage, monitor, motivate and deliver hire and sales activity for the machine control product basket across all business units. Your Responsibilities Will Include Drive the Sunbelt machine control and associated products to exceed hire and sales budgets, ensuring continued growth in line with market demand. Collaborate with Machine Control Installation Engineers to deliver the product solution and service to the customer. Create and maintain sales pipeline management using Superoffice CRM package. Working with the field sales team and wider Sunbelt business to ensure a collaborative approach to the sales process, with regards to any specific sector requirement Become a leading figure within the industry with a focus on the adoption of new technology To work with support team to ensure correct level of support is provided. At times, you will be asked to assist in the delivery of product launch plans. You will assist in this process and ensure prompt and professional execution. Working with marketing team to deliver industry events, marketing messaging and communication. Keep up to date with products and competitor’s activity and general market conditions. You will at times be asked to compile and deliver reports in and around your business area. These are expected to be comprehensive and delivered in a timely fashion What can we offer you in return? To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours: You will have already undertaken an Account Management role and have significant experience in the Plant and Tool Hire Industry, preferably in either a Sales or Contract Management role. You will have the experience, confidence and ability to positively and professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals and develop strong and successful relationships with key external stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate the experience and ability to lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and good ROI. Proven experience in hiring and selling product & services to end users. Experience of people management and development. Part knowledge of wide range of surveying equipment with an understanding of the users of such equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability Willingness to business travel Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint ).
