Underwriting Property Investors Lead Global/UK Salary Competitive This is a great job for someone who has an in depth knowledge of Property / Property Owners underwriting, who enjoys sharing their expertise and who is also keen to lead in the Portfolio management and strategy of the GCS Property Investors account, specialising in the technical control of the Global and/or UK book. If you have detailed knowledge of underwriting processes and ability to translate knowledge and experience into recommendations and actions, we would love to hear from you A bit about the job: You will be responsible for underwriting profitable business within a Property Investors Global and/or UK book ,ensuring the team operates within agreed guidelines and authority levels. You will be actively pursuing opportunities to grow the book of work through new business and renewals, in line with team and Property Investors targets. You will also work closely with the Head Of Property Investors on a variety of tasks including P&L Management, Valuations, Performance analysis, implement strategy and communicate to the team, control Governance (LUAs/Peer reviews).. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Extensive knowledge of Property/Property Investors underwriting within a regulatory environment Strong knowledge of Multi-National underwriting, including Cat risks or strong knowledge of UK property investors market Detailed knowledge of underwriting processes and ability to translate knowledge and experience into recommendations and actions to effectively improve processes/procedures Ability to analyse complex information and draw out the relevant facts along with detailed knowledge of product range and supporting systems Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and influence at senior management level What you’ll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
