The Diocese of Bristol is the administrative area of the Church of England that covers Bristol, Swindon, smaller towns, and surrounding rural areas. Around 15,000 children and young people attend our 71 church schools, and there are more than 200 churches in the Diocese, led by ministry teams. The Diocese can be seen as a family of 30,000 or so clergy, school staff, students, other staff, parish teams, volunteers, and church attenders who work together with a common goal for all people to flourish and experience ‘life in all its fullness’.
This is an exciting time within the Diocese with the vision of Transforming Church. Together creating a way forward for all children, young people, and their families to flourish.
If you recognize yourself, please apply via the link to our website, or if you would like further details about the role, please contact emma.bakewell@bristoldiocese.org.
The Diocese of Bristol is committed to being a fair, respectful, and inclusive organisation. We believe that diversity enriches us and are dedicated to the promotion of equality where all are able to flourish. Disabled people and those from global majority heritage are currently under-represented in our Diocese, and we welcome applications from within these groups.
