Role Objectives:
The main duties of this role include verifying, coding, and inputting purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment runs. The position requires attention to detail and a methodical approach. A confident telephone manner and good communication skills are also required. Previous experience is not essential as in-house training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for reconciling delivery notes to purchase invoices.
2. Be responsible for inputting and processing a high volume of purchase invoices.
3. Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers.
4. Responsible for preparing payment runs for approval.
5. Communicate and work closely with the Purchase Ledger Team.
6. Liaise with Site Managers.
Personal Requirements:
1. Be a good team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
2. Have good communication skills.
3. Be organised with an ability to multitask.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Sage preferred but not essential.
