Must be Eligible to work in the UK. Leading Independent School (fee charging) educational provider is seeking to secure a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. Will consider applicants with just 1st Line IT Support experience. The role holder will support Teachers & Students - up to 350 end users. An external MSP also provides additional IT Support - the role holder will also partner with the external MSP. The role holder will work alongside an IT Manager. Role: 1st/2nd Line Support - will consider applicants with just 1st Line Support. Support Teachers & Students - up to 350 end users. Maintenance of IT Systems, Network & Communications Infrastructure on a day-to-day basis. Support IT devices in Classrooms - smart boards, projectors, printers, audio visual devices, etc. Help Desk Administration - Help answer incident calls/emails & logs work orders into the tracking software. Installation & maintenance of IT & Telecommunications equipment. Imaging of Workstations & Laptops. Set up Mobile Devices. Providing end-user support & IT training regarding - IT software, systems & processes to users in person & remotely Asset Management - Assist with the Inventory Management of software licenses, software, hardware & IT supplies. Align to school procedures and Health & Safety polices. Support with the smooth running & development of the IT department. Technical Skills - Experience Required: 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - will consider applicants with just 1st Line IT Support. Apple Mac support. iOS management & deployment. MacOS & iOS devices - support experience. Google Workspace for Education Administration. Support of End User Devices - iPhone, iPads & Android. Office 365, Windows 10/11 - support experience. MDM - Intune experience is desirable. Audio/Visual devices - Smart Boards, Projectors & Interactive Displays etc. Hardware & Software support - installation & deployment. IP Telephone support. Antivirus & Anti-Spam support. Network Printer support. Networking - Basic Network Connectivity, Internet Access, Email, etc. Basic understanding - issues involved in administering & maintaining, LAN & Wireless Network, Firewalls etc. Excellent communication skills. Good organizational skills, combined with a proactive approach. Working Hours: Onsite Role - 8:00am - 5:00pm - with some flexibility to work from home during school holidays.
