In liaison with the Career Development manager offer support and guidance to members of staff undertaking a variety of apprenticeship standards. To be responsible for the mentoring of new apprentices within the Trust. With the support of the Career Development team ensure that a robust mentoring process is in place to support the apprentice and their team. To provide advice and guidance to Managers supporting employees on all Access to Work initiatives To support the implementation and maintenance of the Trusts Work Placement / Experience programmes working to agreed Policies and Procedures. Support a Careers Advice Service on behalf of the Trust in line with the national guidelines Working with higher and Further Education Training Providers to support the Widening Participation Agenda To work effectively with local schools & Colleges to provide work placement opportunities for their students. To liaise with local education providers to agree work experience placements that provide an appropriate range and variety of work experience in line with desired outcomes.
