The post holder is required to provide a clerical service within the Treatment Centre, ensuring that the professional and caring image of the Trust is maintained at all times. The post will involve a combination of patient contact (face to face and on the telephone), consultant and staff enquiries and a range of clerical duties intended to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Treatment Centre Administration Department.
Reliability, flexibility and a good team spirit are essential to the role.
The role is predominantly office based but cover will be required for the Front of House reception, Eye Clinic reception, File room and back office as necessary.
This job is the first port of call to cover areas in episodes of annual leave or sickness.
• Predominantly dealing with the general administration of the Ophthalmology Department within the Treatment Centre of Queens Hospital Burton.
• Varied day to day tasks dealing with patient appointments and queries.
• Providing cover in other areas of the team when required.
