Senior Brand Manager - Loyd Grossman & Homepride
12 month FTC
Based in St Albans/Hybrid 50% WFH

Loyd Grossman products are a true embodiment of Sir Loyd’s passion for food and are designed to make day-to-day food experience more pleasurable. The Brand is on a mission to transform the biggest cuisine in the category (Italian), by modernising how Consumers enjoy Italian food at home. This year marks 30th anniversary of the Loyd Grossman Brand, which we will be celebrating with an impactful cross-channel campaign.
Homepride is one of UK’s most iconic Brands, which pioneered cook-in sauces in 1974. Since then, Homepride and its proud icon Fred – have been helping parents to cook the food that the whole family will love! The brand footprint spans across Italian and British cuisines. We continue innovating to keep the Brand relevant for modern life – our recent NPD launch (Healthier Pasta Bakes) continues going from strength to strength.
We are looking for an experienced independent marketer who will unlock next phase of growth for these iconic Brands. In this role you will:
1. Contribute to development of the long-term strategic plans that would unlock next level of growth.
2. Develop, align with the Leadership team and bring to life annual growth plans.
3. Manage full Marketing mix to deliver Business growth targets.
4. Develop and lead Innovation projects.
5. Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely projects launch.
6. Manage 1 direct report.
As you are working on creating growth plans for Loyd Grossman and Homepride, you will also need to keep a close eye on day-to-day business performance, to ensure we continue winning in the marketplace and deliver P&L targets. As the role assumes high level stakeholder management (including the Brand Owner), we expect a great candidate to have strong people management and presentation skills.
In this role you will be a part of a talented Cooking Sauces team (includes Sharwood’s, Loyd Grossman, Homepride and The Spice Tailor brands) and work closely with R&D, Commercial, Insight & Innovation teams and have regular exposure to the UK Grocery Leadership team and the Brand Owner (Loyd Grossman).

2. Proven track-record of innovation development, commercialisation and in market launch.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
5. Result-oriented, self-motivated individual with a positive mind-set.
6. Hungry for winning and personal development.
What you'll be doing:
1. Accountable for the delivery of agreed profit, turnover, share and innovation targets for Loyd Grossman in the UK– full P&L responsibility.
2. Lead development of the Annual growth Plan for both Brands.
3. Contribute to the development of the Brand Innovation Strategy and plan (led by Innovation Controller).
4. Develop Brand Marketing campaigns.
5. Lead development and commercialisation of Innovation projects to create long term value.
6. Manage development and execution (to time) the Brand Annual Plan and Budget.
7. Work effectively with all functions and Leadership team to drive key decisions and execution across the business.
8. Ongoing business analysis and search for opportunities to drive growth.
9. Timely status updates for the Brand Owner.
10. Manage and develop 1 direct report.
