The Role
We're seeking a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join the Philanthropy team as our new Philanthropy Officer. This role covers a range of rewarding and varied responsibilities, including supporting the Philanthropy team through exceptional administration and data management across our stewardship and cultivation activities. The successful candidate will be involved in high profile exhibition openings, bespoke private tours, donor communications and recognition, funding proposals, reports and more.
The Philanthropy team manages the V&A’s relationship with all major donors and key advocates. Liaising with senior staff and external volunteers, the Philanthropy team identifies, cultivates and stewards major gifts towards the V&A’s funding priorities, such as its FuturePlan capital projects, acquisitions for the collections, world-class exhibitions, education programme and endowments.
