Finance Business Partner (P00066)Starting salary £49,123pa with potential progression to £52,279pa on achieving designated skills and experience 37 hours per week (Hybrid working)We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated finance professional to provide financial advice and support to specific areas of the organisation. As a fully qualified or part qualified accountant actively studying towards full qualification, you will have a passion for providing high quality financial support to services.In this pivotal role, you will lead in all aspects of the finance service for a specific area of the council, including the production of budget monitoring reports, contributing to the closure of accounts as well as budget setting and financial planning. There will be opportunities to gain experience in other areas of finance to further enhance your career.In addition to providing support to services, the Business Partners provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner to improve existing processes and controls, strengthening governance and continually improving the quality of information used to support the Council’s decision making. You will have an understanding of local government and the environment in which it operates, and the ability and confidence to work strategically.
