We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our team in the successful completion of marine construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, including the use of MS Project, Sage, and Procore Project Management Software. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in marine construction or heavy highway project management, and a degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technologies is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of marine construction projects from start to finish, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, job costing, and quality control.
* Use MS Project, Sage, and Procore software to create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and manage resources.
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that all project requirements are met, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct regular project status meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress, issues, and risks.
* Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and policies.
* Review project plans and specifications, and work with the design team to identify potential problems and develop solutions.
* Manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting on costs, managing change orders, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget constraints.
* Communicate regularly with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technologies (preferred).
* 5-10 years of experience in marine construction project management.
* Experience using MS Project, Sage, and Procore Project Management software.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and policies.
