Job Description
We are seeking a Service Engineer- CCU Commissioning to commission, service and maintain Close Control Units and other associated equipment in accordance with the company's or other specified Codes of Practice.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To attend sites as directed by the service controller to carry out such technical assistance and engineering duties as are required and are within their skills/competence, ensuring a positive customer experience.
2. To carry out planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification or commissioning of plant and equipment as contracted to the company.
3. To produce weekly reports, timesheets, etc., providing all necessary details to enable the Administrative Staff to collate records, prepare invoices, and manage the business effectively.
4. To prepare risk assessments on site, where required, to achieve compliance with health, safety, and environmental duties.
5. To identify opportunities to add value to the client through the provision of additional/alternative services, and to report such opportunities to his/her line manager.
6. To assist in the local sales activities by submitting sales leads to the sales team, thus making a personal sales contribution.
7. To participate in meetings, briefings, training courses, as part of the company’s overall communications and development processes.

About You:
1. Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points on licence and no cases pending)
2. Enhanced DBS checks as required by the Company, the results of which must be considered satisfactory as work involves entry to schools, hospitals, and other restricted establishments.
3. Electrical Qualifications would be beneficial for the role.
4. F-Gas and City and Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning would be advantageous.
5. Excellent fault diagnosis and commissioning on CCUs and Air-Conditioning equipment.
6. IT skills required; Microsoft package: Word & Excel, database, email, etc.
7. Able to work alone and as part of a team.
8. Extensive experience in CCU commissioning.
9. Geographical knowledge of the area in which the role is operating.
10. Role will involve lifting/loading and driving long distances at times and/or to several locations per day, which will be required and are an integral part of this job.
11. Willing to work at height and in confined spaces when required.
