This role is extremely exciting; the successful candidate will have the ability to think creatively, create new retail initiatives and to ensure the retail experience is key for all customer interactions. Working alongside our partner brands Harrods and Selfridges enables us to be more creative in our thinking. Within Kings Cross we are able to work collaboratively with the marketing team, KX landlords to create newsworthy flagship launch displays in and outside of the store. Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities Accountable for the Display and partnerships Go-to-Market (GTM) activity of all product launches within Premium Retail Harrods, Selfridges and Kings Cross ensuring the execution is timely, within budget and driven with excellence within the Samsung Premium Retail space. (End-to-end project management of all product launches in all 3 stores) Build positive relationships across all product teams to gather the latest insight, content and guidelines and are responsible for reporting and measuring compliance of all GTM execution. (Regarding the reporting this role is responsible to collate all Display and partnerships GTM requirements across all other teams within Premium Retail and Kings Cross for example, store operations, marketing feedback too) Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing functions to capture appropriate information (including product roadmaps and ranging) and ensuring they are aligned in all GTM activities. Ensure the team makes commercial merchandising decisions in conjunction with the commercial and Marketing Manager. Build, maintain, develop & grow key relationships with critical agencies and marketing vendors used for GTM activities across POS, creative, design and installation. Build detailed briefs and associated process for agencies for all GTM activities. Attend the weekly Display and partnerships GTM and Retail meetings with detailed output to be circulated at the weekly Premium and Kings Cross team meetings. Informing which products will be EOL. Responsible for the sign off of all Furniture and POS requirements for GTM activities, drive operational efficiencies within our furniture procurement process and print costs and to run our service partners (Maintenance) to deliver high quality services ensuring the store furniture is optimised. Ensuring the correct and appropriate security solutions are used for each new product launch and that solutions are being strategically developed to balance security with customer experience. Forecasting of all products required for the retail displays – working closely with the demand planning team and Display and partnerships retail team. In Store teams; Train, mentor and support all meaningful on-site teams to ensure all visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to. Conduct regular store visits (Samsung & Competitor spaces) and establish relationships with all Premium Retail related field teams, keeping the customer and the heart of all decisions. Keep stores teams informed of all new product updates and requirements. Work collaboratively with them to understand what is working well and what requires attention. External teams; Build relationship with Harrods and Selfridges key partners. Ensuring all retail displays are in line with their guidelines and approved prior to production commencing. Ensure all sub sequential documentation is shared within time line and approved prior to installation (for example Risk and method statements, on manuals) Responsible for all measurement and reporting relating to all GTM matters. What we need for this role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Retail experience in design, project management. An understanding of Market trends, competitor activity & consumer buying patterns. Compliance/merchandising – understanding of outstanding and delivery processes. Adhere to company and client policies, procedures and compliance. Planning and prioritizing own time efficiently and optimally. Confidently present action plans & strategies to key partners. Strong IT & also Excel skills with knowledge of how to analyse data and create reports to show results. Building and maintaining effective working relationships (influence and negotiating) Advanced PowerPoint creation for varying presentation types (e.g. Communication, Project Planning). Strong understanding of the retail environment and can work to an extraordinarily high standard Experience using Sketch up pro, key shot for rendering and adobe illustrator Soft Skills Strong interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach. Ability to work in a fast paced environment Eager to tackle challenges and change with limited information Enthusiastic and passionate about retail Flexible and adaptable with ability to work in diverse cultural environment Ability to see issues before they arise and plan for contingency. Excellent eye for details, can identify trends and patterns of information and can communicate findings in a clear and concise manor. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Great personal skills, agile, able adapt to change, Embedded within the MX GTM, marketing and PM teams. Support the next MX flagship launch with the ambition within 12 months to lead on their own. ? Ability to self navigate around Samsung processes within the first 6 months, in time to support next MX launch.? Weekly interactions with the wider MX GTM teams, and construction agencys. Planning for forthcoming MX launches, weekly visits / store walks to all 3 stores, resolving any issues stores may have. Reviewing data on past projects and building new experinces?
