IT and Engineering Support Technician £28,000 Brighton An IT engineering support technician is required for Hunter’s prestigious and pioneering IT hardware client to provide in-depth technical knowledge on products and applications, dealing with customers, configuration and sales team. 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 8:30-12:30 Friday IT and Engineering Support Technician - Job • Work with the Sales Team to develop and improve customer service standards. Pre and post sales technical enquiries from customers • Provide first line IT support, including providing in-depth technical knowledge on IPC configurations and applications. In some cases, direct discussions with customers may be necessary to provide effective assistance • Provide first line assistance to the Configuration team by resolving technical issues, escalating issues which cannot be resolved to the Product Specialist • Work with the Product and QA/Compliance teams, assisting with testing of products and approving Supplier CE documentation • Inspect goods and issue Certificates of Conformance in line with company ISO • Technical training and support for sales team IT and Engineering Support Technician - Person • Good oral and written communication skills, including accurate administrative ability • Relevant technical qualification and/or experience of electronics & computers • Ability to work under pressure • Previous customer service experience IT and Engineering Support Technician - Extra Death in service benefit Private Health incl. dentistry benefit – after qualifying period Non Contributory pension – after qualifying period 25 days holiday 8 days public holiday
