Your new company
A well-known Private Care organisation in the Central Belt area is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll Administrator. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is very flexible and hybrid working based with offices in Glasgow, Falkirk, and Edinburgh. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm, with flexible working options.
On-site parking is available.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for:
1. End-to-end payroll for 550 people weekly and 50 monthly
2. Analysing data and checking for variances
3. Performing reports back to management
4. Bank journals and reconciliation of payroll accounts
5. Administration of year-end returns
6. Making payments to third parties
7. Dealing with sundry payroll matters such as P45/P60
8. Experience with audits, HMRX, and MNW would be beneficial
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team. You will be experienced in running both weekly and monthly payrolls.
