Job Overview:
Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our client's dynamic Neurological Service based in Gloucester.
* Demonstrate specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generate appropriate strategies for caseload management. Undertake audits and contribute to research in the provision of treatments.
* Lead therapeutic group sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. Build one-to-one rapport with service users, encouraging engagement and empowering recovery.
* Manage a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
* Receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support your career goals.

Requirements of the role:
* Degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, certified by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
* Postgraduate training in a specialist area or equivalent experience.
* Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council and RCSLT.
* Advanced Practitioner in Dysphagia.
* Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
* Experience of working with families.
* Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
