Role Overview: The Urgent Care Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment, induction, and management of GPs within our Integrated Urgent Care team. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Induction: Lead the interview and selection process for new GPs, ensuring adherence to best practices and equal opportunity standards. Oversee the induction process, providing comprehensive orientation and training for new team members. Staff Management: Implement and monitor performance management systems, provide regular feedback, and coordinate professional development opportunities in collaboration with the Education by Nimbuscare team. Leadership and Support: Offer clear, visible leadership to GPs, promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Compliance and Clinical Governance: Work closely with the Associate Director of Clinical Governance to maintain patient safety and high standards of care. Service Development and Improvement: Identify trends and opportunities for service improvement, develop policies and processes to assure compliance with regulatory bodies, and monitor the implementation of improvement plans. Drive the strategic Integrated Urgent Care agenda forward.
