The role:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialised products, is looking to recruit an Engineering Technician working in a clean room environment.
Main Duties of the Engineering Technician:
1. Conduct daily maintenance on washing, filling, and sealing machines, ensuring compliance with cGMP.
2. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of washing, filling, and sealing machines.
3. Proactively manage production lines to maximise efficiency and reduce setup and changeover times.
4. Continuously suggest and implement improvements to processes, equipment, safety, and overall efficiency.
The ideal Engineering Technician will have the following skills and abilities:
1. Hold a formal apprenticeship in Mechanical or Mechanical/Electrical for base skills purpose.
2. NVQ level 3, ONC/HNC or equivalent's (for the theoretical side of maintenance)
3. Ideally a few years' experience in Pharmaceutical, food or Chemical industry would be an advantage, but other industries are of interest as well.
