THE ROLE The Commercial Manager will support and assist in the delivery of development projects within the Evero portfolio of assets with particular focus on supporting Carbon Capture initatives. The role is critical to achieving success through Evero's gated development process from feasibility, FEED and final investment decision through to construction and commissioning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strengthen the commercial position of Evero in its existing and future portfolio of BECCS and other development assets Support, maintain dialogue and negotiate with private and public stakeholders and counterparties Optimise information flow within the organisation with particular focus on integration of development budgeting, cost and scheduling systems and information Support project level economic modelling Active participation in carbon offtake initiatives, public and private sectors REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCES We are open to considering applicants from a range of different industry backgrounds, it's not essential to have prior experience in the energy transition, de-carbonisation, renewables, energy generation, waste management or waste-to-energy fields, although it can of course be beneficial. We would however expect suitable applicants to match with at least some of the following; Project delivery across the stages of a project’s life-cycle from pre-construction, through to commissioning (optimising scope, cost and schedule across each phase) Familiar with developing delivery model strategy, negotiating associated contracts and working under different models e.g. EPC vs EPCm Experience of defining and managing technical and commercial interfaces between different equipment packages Ability to manage technical and commercial interfaces in a way that effectively mitigates project risks Comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations Please note that we do not welcome any agency / 3rd party involvement or approaches on this vacancy until a time we deem to be suitable and at which point we will work with our preferred suppliers only.
