3 month FTC Immediate start Hybrid working in Bournemouth Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a short-term challenge? My client is seeking a dedicated HR Consultant to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role offers hybrid working, allowing you to balance your time between home and their Bournemouth office. Role Purpose: As an HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating all consultation and redundancy activities. Your expertise will ensure smooth and efficient processes during this critical period. Key Responsibilities: Documentation Preparation: Create all necessary documentation for consultations, including letter templates, scripts, note-taking templates, FAQs, and vacancy lists. Collaborate with the communications team to ensure alignment with announcements. Data Management: Maintain and update the master people impacted spreadsheet, ensuring accuracy and tracking changes such as meeting outcomes. Calculate redundancy payments and perform peer checks for accuracy when required. Timetable Coordination: Develop and manage the timetable for consultation activities, ensuring Line Managers, Senior People Partners, and People Partners are informed of their schedules. Book rooms and send Teams invitations as needed. Consultation Support: Provide Senior People Partners and People Partners with the correct documentation and information ahead of consultation meetings. Produce individual ‘named’ documentation such as invite letters. Q&A Management: Collate and share Q&As from consultation meetings with affected individuals on a weekly basis. Ensure all completed documentation is filed and saved in the agreed locations. Selection Materials Support: Assist in the preparation of selection materials, including templates, interview questions, desktop exercise results, and interview notes. Employee Representatives Election: Manage the election process for Employee Representatives, including collating volunteer names, leading ballots if required, arranging meeting dates and locations, sending invites, tracking attendees, taking minutes, and following up on actions. Payroll Liaison: Work with Payroll and Senior People Partners/People Partners to ensure final payments are accurate, correctly formatted, and sent in time for the relevant pay period. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
