An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology Department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for Radiology Systems Team Support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team to assist with the support offered to the Trust to manage and maintain the Radiology Information Systems and to assist with local and regional projects.
The successful applicant will join a close working team to provide a high quality service to system users and to perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure maximum use of the systems with minimal downtime.
We are looking for somebody with a high level of attention to detail and excellent data quality skills.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is already nationally recognised as one of the leading healthcare providers in England for the quality of our services. The Trust has a designated regional major trauma centre, with a 24-hour acute admissions unit and specialised services in cancer, neurosciences, spinal injuries, cardiology and renal medicine.
The role may involved cross site working.
Main duties of the job
Carry out system administration, maintenance and housekeeping tasks such as correction of images.
Deal with general enquiries both in person, email and phone.
Carry out data quality checks and ensures accuracy between the different systems.
Provides support and training to users within the Trust.

Knowledge and skills
Essential criteria
1. Previous experience of working with IT systems.
2. Excellent MS Office skills.
3. Excellent data quality.
Desirable criteria
4. Knowledge of the hospital environment and different specialties.
5. Knowledge of PACS, RIS, Camis, Webice and other NHS systems.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
6. Level 1 in Maths/English or equivalent
7. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable criteria
8. NVQ IT qualification, A-Level education (or equivalent).

9. Computer literacy and data quality.
Desirable criteria
10. An understanding of Clinical Imaging and associated modalities.
Disclosure and Barring Checks (DBS)
