Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure safe working environments. Liaise with project managers and site teams to promote a proactive safety culture. Provide expert guidance and training on health and safety protocols to staff and contractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing reports and recommendations for preventative measures. Ensure that all projects adhere to CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations. Maintain up-to-date health and safety records, including documentation for audits and compliance checks. Manage the health and safety aspects of multiple sites, ensuring consistent application of safety standards. Qualifications & Experience: NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Membership of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent professional body. Proven experience in the construction, fit-out, or refurbishment sector. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health and safety best practices. Full UK driving licence (essential for nationwide travel). Excellent communication and organisational skills.
