Service Charge Accountant- Hybrid

My client, a leading and award-winning property management company with portfolios all over England, Scotland and Wales, are on the lookout for a motivated Service Charge Accountant to join their growing service charge team.
Duties:
* Manage and oversee service charge accounts for residential and commercial properties, including budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining service charge cost estimates.
* Manage a portfolio of service charge accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare and review financial statements for homeowners.
* Answer queries from key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
* Manage the annual service charge audit process and liaise with auditors for portfolio.
* Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
* Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience within Finance / Accounts roles in the property industry.
* Good knowledge and high attention to detail in financial reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (property management software is a plus).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH, free parking onsite.
