Your mission at LINDAL
This role involves operating toolroom machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and assembling, repairing moulds.
Responsible for the maintenance, changes and repairs of plastic injection mould tools.
* Repair and maintain mould tools.
* Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve issues and address with minimal downtime to aid
* production.
* Estimate length of time required to complete a job.
* Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
* Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality and efficiently.
* Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity.
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on mould tools.
* Carry out scheduled tool version changes.
* Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
Your profile
* Knowledge of measurement and build process of injection moulding tools
* Understanding of service scheduling
* Understanding of engineering drawings
* Understanding manufacturing processes
* Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
* Planning and prioritising activities
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
* Ability to multi- task
Desirable
· CNC, CAD\CAM experience
· Experience Microsoft applications
