Senior Healthcare Assistant - Critical Care

If so, we have an opportunity for an experienced full-time Band 3 Senior Healthcare Assistant within the Critical Care Department.
The post is based at our new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital site and provides 30 intensive care beds. Comprehensive role-specific training will be provided within the department, supported by a competency package and robust mentorship.
We welcome applications from suitably experienced and Level 2 qualified individuals who would be willing to undertake the Level 3 Healthcare Support Worker qualification during employment.
Main Duties of the Job
The main duties will be to assist and support the nursing team in delivering safe care to acutely ill and/or rehabilitating critical care patients, alongside promoting infection control practices and assisting in equipment and stock utilization.
Please note that the post-holder must be motivated and enthusiastic and have experience in an acute hospital healthcare role.

Experience
* Relevant experience working in a hospital or other healthcare environment.
Qualifications
* Key skills - literacy and numeric (or equivalent)
* NVQ Level III in Direct Care
* Basic First Aid Certificate
