Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10.15 am to 1.30 pm & Wednesday 9.45 am to 1 pm. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10.15 am to 2 pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break) & Wednesday 10 am to 1.45 pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break).

Cityserve is a Birmingham City Council catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchens across the UK. Healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all of our menus, and we are committed to the wellbeing of pupils. As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, cooking & serving pupil meals.
* Assisting in keeping the kitchen clean & tidy.
* Assisting in keeping appropriate records & use of tills.
* Maintaining a balanced diet and varied menus.
* Being aware of customer needs and dietary preferences.
* Working collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens both in and outside of service times.
Previous kitchen experience is essential to this role.
