We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hyperion EPM Administrator to oversee the administration, optimization, and support of Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. This role is critical for maintaining financial systems, ensuring efficient data integration, and optimizing financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, DRM, FDM, and Shared Services while driving system performance improvements. Key Responsibilities Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Administration Administer and support HFM applications, including consolidation, reporting, and data integration. Maintain and update hierarchies, metadata, and financial dimensions. Monitor HFM performance and troubleshoot data load issues. Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Develop and manage financial reports and consolidation templates. Execute month-end close activities, including opening/closing periods. Hyperion Essbase Reporting Manage and support Hyperion Essbase, ensuring proper data modeling and reporting. Maintain Essbase cubes, data loads, and calculations. Optimize cube performance, develop calculation scripts, and troubleshoot errors. Develop custom reports and dashboards to support financial analytics. Hyperion Planning Administration Oversee and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Manage metadata, data loads, and security setups for planning applications. Collaborate with business units to implement financial planning and budgeting solutions. Develop and manage forecasting forms and templates. Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) Administer and manage Hyperion DRM to ensure accurate data governance. Configure and manage metadata across HFM, Essbase, Planning, and other Hyperion applications. Ensure proper data lineage and integration between systems. Troubleshoot and resolve data relationship issues. Financial Data Management (FDM) Administration Oversee FDM to ensure seamless integration between transactional systems and Hyperion applications. Manage data validation, transformation, and reconciliation processes. Implement data mapping and integration strategies in collaboration with business and IT teams. Resolve data load errors, configuration issues, and mapping problems. Hyperion Shared Services Administer Hyperion Shared Services, managing user provisioning, access controls, and security. Ensure proper role-based access across Hyperion applications. Manage user authentication and application settings for system-wide stability. System Monitoring, Performance, and Troubleshooting Monitor performance across all Hyperion applications and proactively troubleshoot issues. Identify and implement system optimizations to improve efficiency and uptime. Minimize system downtime through proactive issue resolution and maintenance. End-User Support and Training Provide end-user support and training for Hyperion applications. Develop user guides and training materials to ensure knowledge sharing. Resolve user-reported system issues efficiently. Collaboration and Project Management Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to align Hyperion system configurations with business needs. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and process improvement initiatives. Drive optimization of financial management and reporting processes. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field. Relevant Experience 9 years of experience in Hyperion EPM administration, including HFM, Essbase, Planning, DRM, FDM, and Shared Services. Strong experience in Hyperion system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience in SQL scripting, Essbase script tuning, and data integration. Experience with Hyperion system upgrades and migrations (preferred).
