Job Description
As a Corporate Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to customers and key stakeholders throughout the loan and portfolio management process. You will deal with inbound and outbound enquiries from customers in all stages of the lending life cycle by conducting regular meetings and calls with customers to review their financial performance, needs, and expectations, as well as identifying new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing Corporate Portfolio customers (<£2.5m lending exposure) along with providing support to the Corporate Portfolio Directors in general portfolio management for customers with larger lending exposure and / or more complex businesses / structures.
As a Corporate Relationship Manager, we are looking for someone to:
* Deliver good customer outcomes through effective conversations that seek to understand a customer’s circumstances and offer the right sustainable solution for their needs
* Actively manage allocated corporate portfolio accounts by identifying credit risk and escalation to consider solutions
* Through effective listening and questioning, understand the root cause of a customer’s financial situation and work with the customer to find the right solution for their needs
* Provide day-to-day support to all Corporate Portfolio Directors in regards to the general portfolio management
* Support and engage with Corporate Recoveries to ensure timely escalation of non-performing cases
Qualifications
Essential
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to minimising customer effort
* An excellent understanding of what a good customer outcome looks like
* Good working understanding of regulation in relation to arrears management
* An empathetic approach to customers through active listening and effective questioning, coupled with a keen sense of business objectives
* A team player who works collaboratively and flexibly within their own team and the wider operation to achieve business goal
