Role Overview
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the West Assessment and Treatment Service in Brighton & Hove. You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary community mental health team providing assessments and treatment for patients with complex needs.
This role includes a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000 and potential relocation allowance of up to £8,000. The RRP is paid in installments: £5,000 upon appointment, £5,000 at 12 months, £6,500 at 30 months, and £8,500 at 48 months.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatments.
* Supervise the healthcare team and advise non-medical staff.
* Fulfill Responsible Clinician duties for patients under Community Treatment Orders.
* Conduct Mental Health Act assessments and liaise with inpatient and forensic teams.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
* MB BS or equivalent, GMC registered, with a license to practice.
* On or within six months of GMC Specialist Register.
Skills & Experience
* Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
* Valid UK driving license or alternative arrangements.
