Please note before applying: you must have solid experience working in a Product Manager role in the Insurance industry and/or a regulated environment.
Location: London (E1) with bi-weekly travel to our Lincoln office
Hybrid working as standard: 2 days a week in the office, the other 3 days remote (or office if you prefer)
Our mission:
* Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Our mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world.
* We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution.
* Like all scale-ups, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products, and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission!
The Opportunity:
* Have end-to-end ownership of our Insurance Products, working closely with our MD of Insurance.
* Plan, prioritise and deliver product roadmaps, ensuring buy-in at each step of the development process.
* Own discovery, conducting market, competitor & user research, run customer interviews, surveys, usability testing.
* Define & test hypotheses and MVPs, whilst using a mix of qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
* Lead kick-offs, check-ins, workshops, retrospectives and a variety of other meetings with people across the business right up to the CEO.
What we need from you:
* Solid experience working in a Product Manager role in the insurance industry and/or regulated environment
* User centricity: you are experienced in helping stakeholders and team members to understand the needs of users, whilst translating these needs into user stories that provide clarity to the development team of the proposed solution.
* Product ownership: you are confident in defining roadmaps for both the short and long term whilst being able to prioritise features and issues as necessary.
* Delivery bias: you are able to deliver quality whilst demonstrating value to the user.
* Results orientated: you are comfortable ensuring the team, stakeholders and the wider business understand the expected outcome of any work being planned or delivered, what success looks like and how it is measured.
What's in it for you:
* Grow with Goodlord: your development is important to us, that’s why we are Great Place to Work - certified. Have a goal in mind? Share it with us and you can use your £1000 annual development fund to support it. We guarantee you’ll learn loads and develop both personally and professionally at Goodlord too!
* Your well-being matters: bi-weekly coaching with Sanctus to provide Goodlordians with a safe place to talk and support your mental health.
* 25 days holiday (plus UK Bank holidays) plus 1 day per full holiday year up to 32 days: We believe regular breaks are essential for well-being and we encourage (some may say expect!) all Goodlordians to take full advantage of their annual leave entitlement.
* Supporting your family: we offer Goodlordians of all genders a generous 3 months of fully-paid time off to look after their new arrivals.
* Our team: we’re an energetic, sociable, and talented bunch who are super passionate about what we do and determined to make a difference. We’re all in it together, we learn from each other, we’re genuine and we don’t have time for politics.
